To undertake Insurance Valuations, Reinstatement Cost Assessments across a broad range of property types throughout the UK and potentially internationally.
Manage own case load and support the rest of the team, reporting into the Head of Department.Key Responsibilities of the role;
Inspections - site surveys comprising; taking site notes, noting construction form, building services, fixtures and finishes, as well as external works.
Taking photos, full site measurements or check measurements of buildings and external areas, electronic take offs from plans.Measurement - using digital measurement software and adhering to RICS IPMS and COMP best practice.
Cost Research - Gather and analyse cost data from a number of sources including online cost databases and publications, internal comparables, and recent developments.
Valuation/Pricing - build up a cost estimate to provide a figure which will be the cost of reinstatement for the entire property, making allowances such as demolition, debris removal, temporary works, professional fees, etc in line with the RICS guide.
Travel - make appropriate arrangements, liasing directly with clients and manage budgets
Be the onsite face of the company, representing the firm
Support Director in review process, general overall management of the team
Day to day management of Surveyors
Develop expertise across key sectors and specialise in areas
Project management larger instruction through appropriate delegation of tasks
Undertake fee earning work by example to the team upholding the key responsibilities of the Surveyor

Salary:
£40,000.00-£65,000.00 per year

Experience:
- Surveying: 5 years (required)
Licence/Certification:
- MRICS, CABE, CIOB status (required)
