First Call Talent Solutions are currently recruiting for a permanent night shift Warehouse Operative to join a global logistics company based near Heathrow Airport, Hounslow.


Salary:
£27'000 - £31'000 (Negotiable dependent on experience)

Shifts:
Tuesday to Friday 10pm-9am with 1 hour break

It is desirable to have previous Forklift Experience and to be Level CO (Cargo Operative) trained, however this can be taught on-site.

Night Shift Warehouse Operative Role:


  • You will be working in the general cargo and screening warehouse, in the Fresh Operations department. This is a fresh operation so is chilled, appropriate clothing will be provided to keep warm.

Duties of a Night Shift Warehouse Operative Role:

  • Ensure customer orders are processed
  • Accurate inbound shipment handling
  • Data entry using Warehouse systems
  • Scanning using metal detection Xray and other machines
  • Checking / Labelling Cargo
  • Loading / Dispatch of Cargo
  • General Warehouse Duties
  • Handling temperate controlled goods, speed is of the essence

Requirements of a Night Shift Warehouse Operative:

  • Freight forwarding knowledge
  • Ability to do high levels of manual handling
  • Must attend Fire Marshall and / or First Aid training
  • Ability to screen freight
  • Able to use hand held scanners and electronic stock systems
  • Can easily commute to Hounslow / Heathrow Airport
**It is desirable to have previous forklift experience or trained, and to be Level CO (Cargo Operative) trained, or to have worked in Air Cargo before.
