As a result of increased growth, there is excellent opportunity to join Lusona Consultancy's private equity client as a part qualified accountant based in Glasgow City Centre.

Working as part of a close-knit team you will see both sides of the business bypreparing statutory and management accounts, as well as key involvement in VAT returns and forecasting.

Your main responsibilities will include:

Preparing statutory year end accounts
Being a key point of contact to liaise with auditors
Maintaining the fixed asset register
Preparing quarterly management accounts
Preparing quarterly VAT returns
Supporting the preparation of the annual forecast
Completing relevant tax analysis and compliance
Gaining an insight into the funds by producing quarterly and year end reporting as well as preparing distributions that would be sent to investors
Maintain portfolio company information.

Applicants will be part qualified or qualified by experience accountants with strong statutory accounting experience.

This can be gained within industry, or alternatively particularly suitable for those within accounts and business advisory of a generalpractice accountancy firm.

A great next step for someone looking to move out of practice. Likewise, you will have strong knowledge in understand tax add backs and VAT rules. You will enjoy working as part of a team to meet tight deadlines and prioritise tasksaccordingly.
