Due to our continued success and growth, we are looking for a
Workshop
Fitter/Driver for our North East branch
The salary scale will be dependent on experience of the
Workshop
Fitter / Driver
Our successful Workshop Fitter/Driver will be working Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm. You may also be required to work overtime on an ad-hoc basis.

Liaise with customers on a day to day basis when delivering and collecting equipment, whilst adhering to any customer/site health and safety guidelines


You may be required to demonstrate the item's operation to customers, so training to a good standard of knowledge of all equipment will be given.

The completion of any relevant checks and related administration when delivering and collecting equipment.


You will be responsible for ensuring that all Company vehicles are driven safely, within the law at all times, carry out daily routine checks and be responsible for reporting any defects or maintenance needs of the vehicle.

Company vehicle provided.

You will comply with current H&S legislation and Company specific health, safety and environmental policies and procedures.

Checking and storing returned equipment

Maintaining clean work areas

A current digital tachograph and CPC is essential for this role.

Any experience on High Pressure Water Jetting systems would be advantageous but not essential as full training will be given


Time served would be an advantage but not essential as we are looking to recruit an employee who has the ability to understand and demonstrate good problem solving skills and knowledge of all types of petrol and diesel engines.

What our successful
Workshop Fitter/Driver role will involve:


  • Servicing of our high pressure jetting machines that clients bring in after use.
  • To fix and find faults on our machines and replace them with new parts.
  • To maintain a clean workshop.
  • To fix and maintain customer machines
  • To be able to work on your own initiative
  • Have good customer service skills.
