Our client is a specialist retailer in high-value fixtures and fittings.

They have been operational for nearly 20 years and work with some of the best designers and finest materials to offer the best in design, innovation and quality.


Due to ongoing growth, they are currently seeking a Customer Service Advisor to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis.


The role will involve liaising with customers giving advice over the phone prior to and after ordering, processing all orders and effective complaint resolution.

The role will include a high level of multi-tasking as you will be involved in an array of customer service enquiries.


Duties will include:
Accurate and timely input of customer orders via SAGE 1000 back-office system
Management of time to ensure high level of productivity and order throughout
Understanding of processes and procedures to minimise input error and ensure good customer service is given
Build effective and lasting customer relationships through the provision of high levels of service delivery, problem resolution and the empathetic management of customer expectations
Proactively monitor the wall board and contribute to team activity to ensure all calls are answered promptly
Liaise directly with customers on price and stock availability requests
Develop high levels of product knowledge
Manage own workload and objectives, whilst also working as a team to ensure the achievement of the team and department objectives
Undertake a range of administrative duties
Proactively, creatively and effectively manage customer complaints ensuring they are resolved in the timeliest, cost effective and appropriate manner

Experience working in a Contact Centre/Customer Service environment
Excellent communication skills
Self-motivated with a proactive approach and demonstrates a 'can do' attitude
Ability to focus on solutions rather than problems
Expresses passion and enthusiasm within the role
Proven track record on delivering quality as a first priority
Quick to adapt and learn new skills
Good MS Office skills


Starting salary for this role will be £21,700 with a performance related pay increase to £24,500 in the first 12 months.
