FAMILY SUPPORT WORKER

  • To work in a family residential setting which accommodates families with their baby/ children for a 13 week parenting assessment to assess their parenting capacity.


This could be due to a range of differing needs or risk factors such as: learning difficulties, mental health, drug and alcohol misuse, domestic abuse etc.


Throughout the assessment we offer guidance, support and advice to assist them with their parenting and to enhance their knowledge and skills to foster positive parenting.

You will be required to undertake direct observations, monitoring of CCTV, supervision of families within the community and to make accurate recordings to assist with the assessment process.

Level 3 Children and Young People's Workforce is desirable.

Level 4 Children and Young Peoples Practitioner will be offered after 3 months of employment.

You must be flexible and must be available to work night shifts and have the desire to support and assist families to achieve better outcomes

£10.90 per hour

  • 8 hour shift
  • Day shift
  • Night shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Manchester, M32 0RN: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
