DTS is a leading family run dental laboratory in the UK with its production centre in the east end of Glasgow, DTS supplies a full laboratory service to all of our many dentist customers domestically and internationally.

The role involves completing small general repairs to the premises fabrication, and identifying and managing the larger repair of the the building and working with external trades

Maintaining the business equipment of the dental technicians by identifying issues and managing the repair with external suppliers or completing basic repairs yourself to allow the smooth running of the production floor.

DTS also has a small team of dispatch drivers who delivery cases daily to our customers. This role involves working with the drivers to keep a track of the maintenance of the cars and organise repairs and servicing with external suppliers also involves helping complete deliveries in busy periods and holiday cover for our despatch drivers

This role will suit someone who is an excellent organisational skills and a problem solver that can turn their hand to many things.

Responsibilities:

• Perform general maintenance and repairs in commercial properties
• Respond to service requests in a timely manner
• Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with electrical, plumbing
• Install and repair fixtures, appliances, and equipment
• Conduct routine inspections to identify potential problems
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas
• Knowledge of electrical systems, including wiring, circuits, and troubleshooting
• Experience with supervising projects and ensuring quality workmanship
• Welding experience is a plus
• Ability to maintain accurate records of maintenance activities
• Mechanical knowledge for equipment repairs and maintenance

Salary:
£23,000.00-£26,000.00 per year
