About the role

Who you are
All previous experience may be paid or voluntary, full or part-time, in the UK or overseas.

  • An excellent organiser, it is essential that you have a background in project management and programme delivery, committed to seeing a project through with a keen eye for detail.
  • You will be comfortable engaging with a variety of stakeholders and be confident in stakeholder analysis to manage expectations and objectives.
  • You will have experience collaborating with funders, understanding and delivering on their requirements.
  • You will be a skilled leader providing management and operational guidance to your passionate team.
  • Your experience in providing services within the voluntary, community, and social enterprise (VSCE) sector is desirable but not essential.
  • You are passionate about empowering people to learn and improve their skills and knowledge, recognising the transformative impact this can have on individuals who are experiencing a mental health problem.
  • Your lived experience of the impact of utilising arts and creativity to enhance either your own mental health and wellbeing or that of others is desirable but not essential.

What you will offer us

  • You will excel as a communicator, skilled in networking and maximising networking opportunities.
  • You will possess project management experience supporting individuals in their development.
  • Maintaining a positive 'can do' attitude and being proactive will be key.
  • Proficiency in using a customer relationship management (CRM) system, especially in data reporting and presentation, is essential.
  • An understanding of project management tools like stakeholder analysis and Gantt charts is crucial. It is essential to know how and when to utilise these tools and adapt the project to guarantee successful delivery.
  • Demonstrating the capacity to present data effectively to a diverse audience through data dashboards, reports and presentations to support project decisions and showcase its impact.
  • Your enthusiasm for showcasing the positive effects of our services on clients, and analysing its impact to suggest service enhancements, is vital.
  • Previous experience in team management is essential.

Key responsibilities

  • As our programme lead, you will be responsible for overseeing the operational management of the project to ensure its successful implementation in West Kent. Your role will involve utilising strong operational skills like motivational abilities, analytical thinking, and decisionmaking proficiency.
  • Leading a team of dedicated Creative Minds staff, volunteers, and subcontracted artists to ensure project delivery meets targets.
  • Engaging with local artists and key stakeholders to drive the Creative Minds programme, while also exploring future collaborations and programme integration including the promotion of the programme.
  • Managing project finances by planning, allocating, and monitoring resources within the project budget, providing regular updates to senior management to ensure costeffectiveness.
