Job Purpose:

To operate the Waterjet Cutting Machines to cut the thermoplastic into our products.

Key Duties:

Check the system to identify cutting requirements to meet customer orders.
Identify the relevant drawing on the company server and operate the Water Jet Cutter to produce the various components from the sheets in order to meet customer orders
Wash/Dry, cut the sheets and store on trollies for QC to inspect
Update the system to ensure accurate production and stock data is available
Assist in preparing mixes in order to meet the daily production plan.
Assist in extruding mixes to specification as regards all properties.
Store extruded sheets in the relevant racking carefully to prevent damage.
Investigate issues and complete repairs on the machines when required.
Complete general maintenance on the machines.
Proactively fault find and organise the replacement of parts as required.
Ensure there is an efficient use and storage of recycled or waste materials.
Maintain, tidy, and demonstrate good housekeeping in outside yard areas

The shifts for this role will be Monday - Friday, rotating between early shifts and late shifts (between the hours of 6am - 10pm, totally 41.5 hours a week)
