The One Group are pleased to be partnering with a large Defence organisation who possess an excellent working culture along with progression routes who are seeking an Engineering Manager to join the team on a permanent basis to focus on RF/Microwave andIR System Hardware.

This is an exciting time to be joining a highly reputable organisation where you will have the opportunity to join a successful team working at the forefront of new technology where you will have the opportunity to develop new and innovative solutions fromcomplex requirements.

You will have the opportunity to join a developing design team who have a range of skills and experience but have the end goal of producing a seeker hardware solution that meets the customers' requirements.


The day-to-day duties include:

  • Develop new and innovative seeker technologies and hardware design
  • Be involved in various stages of the seeker development from concept through to hardware design, development and proving manufacturing
  • Travel between sites in the UK and abroad to support seeker integration, trials and manufacture

What we are looking for:

  • Degree qualified with experience in RF or electronics
  • Able to build strong working relationships with team member and external partners
  • Experienced in product lifecycles from concept into production
