Job description

  • The School of Psychology at Queen's University Belfast, is currently seeking to appoint a Research Fellow.
The post holder will be a highly productive, ambitious and collaborative member of "My T1D Care Tool:

Co-Creating a digital psychosocial measure for young people living with Type 1 Diabetes as part of routine healthcare management" research project/team, assisting in the development of research proposals and the planning and delivery of the research activity specifically in the context of applied health or clinical psychology and health service research.- The post is a critical role, and as such, successful applicants will have responsibilities in independent research involving literature reviews and quantitative and qualitative methods, planning and evaluating research, collaboration within a multidisciplinary team, and dissemination of research to academic, professional, and lay audiences.

- At least 3 years' relevant research experience to include:

  • A proven track record of using qualitative methods to carry out analyses, critical evaluations, and interpretations of data as relevant to the research project
  • Experience of undertaking literature review work
  • Working effectively as part of a research team in the development and promotion of the research theme.
