Your opportunity

We are looking for a Junior Digital Delivery Specialist to join our busy and exciting Digital Delivery team.

  • Join a global team of 7 members, with varying levels of experience and from whom you will be able to learn and grow within the job
  • Oversee uploading, maintaining, and optimising content on our website. We will want you to have customers in mind and treat it as your own website
  • Build WordPress pages (layout and functionality) to be in line with our design guidelines. The UX team will be your best friends to help you achieve this
  • Update and optimise existing content in accordance with any changes we introduce be it to do with regulations, technology or to try something new
  • Partner with our UX team to bring new ideas to the web and build per their designs crucial to make our webpages the best in business
  • Manage your own daytoday tasks / smaller projects and communicate progress, whilst keeping your team updated and ask for help where needed
  • Work with an innovative translation tool and become a wizz at leveraging it
  • Report and document website issues to IT where necessary
  • Keep SEO firmly in mind and become the guardian of everything web accessibility, familiarising yourself with Siteimprove to drive improvements

Must have skills

  • Some experience working with publicfacing web content, or at least some good exposure to a CMS (WordPress or else).
  • Prior experience using tools such as JIRA, Siteimprove, Workfront or the ability to demonstrate that you can handle your own workload
  • Basic knowledge of SEO and web usability best practices (accessibility, quality assurance and UX)
  • Ability to challenge the status quo when you spot an opportunity
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy web quality is of the essence
  • Team player with the ability to engage with multiple stakeholders daily
  • Ability to communicate technical information clearly and concisely
  • Good problemsolving skills and ability to articulate solutions
  • Selfstarter, organised and ability to prioritise when the workload increases
Nice to have skills

  • Basic HTML and some prior exposure to CSS/JS preferable. We use Beaver Builder in WordPress which sometimes requires a bit of tinkering
  • Exposure to a large, heavily regulated financial services organisation with a complex web presence and not being afraid of navigating its intricacies
  • Experience managing and working with a variety of websites in different languages (no language skills required)
  • Prior use of translation tools (Smartling, WPML or else) or ability to demonstrate that you are capable of learning quickly and get stuck in
  • Good Excel and Adobe suite skills are always a plus but not a requirement
