Paragon Resource Solutions are currently recruiting on behalf of their client, a reputable Building Company for an experienced Roofing Supervisor to join their team on a permanent basis.

Salary - £38,000- £40,000

Monday - Friday 8-5pm


Main Duties and responsibilities

  • Supervise Operatives and Workmanship across Roofing Work streams. Resolve all operative/office queries on assigned contracts. Be responsible for identifying resourcing and material needs to ensure timely project and programme delivery within agreed commercial parameters and KPIs.
  • Ensure Customer and Client excellence and compliance with Health and Safety, Quality and Environment systems / procedures / legislation.

Scope & Responsibilities of the Role

  • Complete Operative site inductions
  • Supervise/ manage teams of operatives on site
  • Assess and monitor operatives conduct, productivity and performance
  • Regularly review and assess site Health, Safety and Environmental conditions
  • Ensure H&S standards and procedures are followed, weekly H&S inspections & returns
  • Review and record daily works allocations and resource planning
  • Assessing incoming works for time, resource and material needs ensuring we can commit to our environmental, health, safety and quality standards
  • Control and undertake quality of workmanship inspections and sign offs at key stages of completion.
Maintain records of quality inspections

  • Ensure quality is maintained on site
  • Innovate and encourage best practice, demonstrating a commitment to continual improvement
  • Complete all paperwork including materials and labour returns, timesheet approvals, etc.
  • Ensure timely handover of completed properties
  • Liaise with Client representatives as required over day to day issues
  • Participate in joint handovers/ audits
  • Support trainees/ apprentices development and growth
  • Monitoring and implementing best working practices and quality controls to improve KPIs
  • Assist where required in absence of other Supervisors/ Site Manager/ Project Manager

Education/Qualifications
Full driving license

BTEC HNC/D in Building/Construction Studies (preferred)

Educated to GCSE level or equivalent Site Supervisor Safety Training Scheme qualified

Building Trade/ Previous Supervisory/ Scaffolding Awareness

Construction Skills Certification Scheme

Working at Height

Card holder (CSCS)

First Aid at Work

Manual Handling training Computer Literate
