Cerner Trainer - OUTSIDE IR3- 3-month contract.

My client is within the Healthcare sector, and they are seeking a CERNER Trainer to join them on a 14-month programme to deliver an upgrade from the existing legacy PAS system to a new EPR System called CERNER.

You will be involved in this exciting project which requires European travel, and the initial contract duration will be 3 months, with a view to extending to the duration of the programme.


About the job:


We are looking for an experienced Cerner Trainer to join an HealthCare Solutions Provider and help them with their Electronic Patient Record (EPR) implementation.


Responsibilities include:


  • Designing, developing, and delivering training courses on Cerner systems.
  • Evaluating the effectiveness of training courses, making changes to improve sessions.
  • Working closely with stakeholders, such as clinicians and IT personnel, to ensure training objectives are met.
  • Maintaining records of training sessions and feedback.
  • Developing and implementing training materials, such as lesson plans, handouts, and assessment tools.
  • Analysing current processes and procedures to identify training needs.
  • Keeping up to date with developments in EPR technology.
  • Providing technical support and advice to users.
  • A qualification in a relevant field such as healthcare, IT, or training.
  • Previous experience in Cerner systems or training.
  • An understanding of healthcare processes and systems.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • The ability to analyse and interpret data.
  • The ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • An understanding of EPR implementation.
