Tradewind Recruitment are currently working alongside a range of secondary schools located in Southwest London. We are currently recruiting for proactive and driven Science Technicians to join the already strong workforces.

Science technicians play a vitalrole in the provision of high-quality science teaching in schools, from looking after laboratory equipment to helping pupils achieve their potential with one-to-one support.

These roles will commence after the May half-term and will continue to the end ofthe year with scope to carry on into the new academic year.

The working day will be from 8am - 4pm and pay between £12 - £16 an hour.

Responsibilities included in your role:
- maintaining equipment
- constructing and modifying apparatus
- setting up experiments
- taking an active part in laboratory demonstrations
- ordering resources and keeping budgets
- helping in practical classes
- giving technical help to pupils and students
- always meeting current health and safety standards
- a high standard of professional practice, with bespoke in-house CPD provision, and affiliation to nationally recognised courses and providers
- a supportive and collegiate environment
- a culture of high trust and accountability that values creativity and innovation, leading practice locally and nationally in a range of fields.
