Grade SO2, Points £31,208 - £32,821 pro rata)

36 hours per week - 40 weeks

This is an exciting opportunity for a talented counsellor to join our passionate and highly effective pastoral team working in high quality, inclusive and well-resourced environment.

They will provide counselling for individual Academy students, responding to a range of social, emotional or educational concerns.

What you can offer:

A passion for supporting young people to be happy and successful

Recognised professional counselling qualifications to diploma level or equivalent.

An ability to build positive relationships with children and adults (
Essential):
Strong organisational skills and an ability to maintain accurate, appropriate records

A calm, supportive manner and a willingness to be adaptable

(Essential):

Experience working with young people in a school or similar setting
(Desirable):
Experience working with external agencies, for example, across the NHS, SEND
