Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Room Manager to join our team.

As a Room Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a designated room within our childcare facility.

Your role will involve managing staff, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment for children, and maintaining effective communication with parents.

Responsibilities:

Drive the overall success of the room by providing strong leadership and guidance to staff members
Manage and supervise a team of childcare professionals
Create and implement developmentally appropriate curriculum and activities for children in accordance with the EYFS
Ensure the safety and wellbeing of all children in the room at all times
Maintain open lines of communication with parents regarding their child's progress, behaviour, and any concerns that may arise
Collaborate with the Nursery Manager to maintain a cohesive and supportive work environment
Adhere to all licensing regulations and maintain accurate records as required

Qualifications:

Minimum of 2 years of experience working in childcare or early childhood education settings
Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage a team
Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written
Knowledge of early childhood development principles and best practices
Experience working with children in a nursery or preschool setting
Ability to multitask, prioritize responsibilities, and adapt to changing needs
Paediatric First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
