About us
Strive House is a children's service that provides residential care to children and young people.

Strive House is a new, small but thriving business based in the north of Manchester, dedicated to being professional, inclusive and supportive.

Our goal is to open a brand-new, Children's residential home in Middleton Manchester and provide exceptional care for children and young people.


We are currently looking for experienced residential care workers to join our team, to assist us in achieving our goal in building a brighter future for children and young people.

This will be an exciting opportunity for those who are looking for rewarding role with a challenge.

Being a new service Strive House will be home, not only to children and young people but also many opportunities for staff members in development and progression.


As a Residential care worker you will be an inspirational staff member, with great communication skills and the ability to work well with the children and young people.

You will assist the Senior residential care workers in providing the day to care for the children and young people of the home.

you will take responsibility for maintaining and promoting the safety and welfare of the children and young people, following the Strive House processes that are in place, which adhere to all current and relative legislation, which will enable robust structures to be developed around quality care and assurance.

As a residential care worker at Strive House, you will work with and alongside all key stakeholders in promoting the safety and welfare of all children and young people.


Responsibilities:


  • To work on a rota basis, according to the needs of the home, children and young people.
  • To work in conjunction with the senior residential care worker or shift leader in maintaining the safety and well being of the children and young people.
  • Participate in training or courses which will be a benefit to your role.
  • To ensure that resources are allocated appropriately, records and documentation are accurately maintained under the direction of the Home Manager, deputy manager and seniors.
  • To receive in line with Quality Standards & Regulations and to take responsibility for personal development and progress of your individual training needs.

  • To carry out all other reasonable tasks as directed by the Homes Manager.

£28,000.00-£31,000.00 per year
