GSL Education are looking for a

SEMH Teaching assistant to act as a nurturing and inclusive provision for students with

social, emotional and mental health needs within the

Exeter area.

You'll be providing support for children in an inclusive and safe environment and focusing on delivering an education tailored to individual students needs to equip them with the essential knowledge and skills necessary to meet life's increasingly difficult challenges.

The role requires;

The commitment to treat every child as an individual and recognize the potential of each and every pupil to help them overcome barriers and allow them to flourish both personally and academically.

Various behaviour management techniques to rely upon as well as a solid understanding of resources and schemes of work to use.

An imaginative and forward-thinking approach and drive to create memorable experiences and safe spaces both in and out of classroom settings.

Supporting the Class Teacher in all areas of the day-to-day running of the class

Providing learning support for pupils in both group and 1:1 settings

You must;
