  • We seek a motivated Research Assistant with experience in molecular and cellular techniques to support the research groups within the Epigenetics Programme at the Babraham Institute. The eight groups within the Programme provide a thriving research and training environment with a collective focus to investigate epigenetic mechanisms across the lifecourse.

The job holder will be responsible for assisting with experiments, providing day-to-day lab organisation, supporting the coordination between research groups, training visitors and new starters, maintaining records and preparing reports.

They will have the opportunity to be involved in a variety of projects over the course of the appointment, with a particular focus on translational research.-This is a limited term appointment with funding for this post available for a period of four years in the first instance.-The Institute has joined the Technician Commitment initiative, which is a commitment to support the recognition, visibility, sustainability and career development of our research support community, including Research Assistants.
