The Role
We are recruiting for a broker focused
Business Development Assistant to join our award winning intermediary team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a confident phone-based communicator and influential individual to develop their careerwithin the Mortgage world.


Our successful Business Development Assistants play a vital role in our mortgage business development team by supporting the Business Development Managers with their accounts in order to ensure that key relationships flourish.

Our BD team have some of thehighest engagement and happiness scores across the Society and work as a collaborative and supportive team.


Key Responsibilities (not limited to)

  • Manage LiveChat and provide online support to intermediaries and brokers
  • Enable all Intermediaries to have an understanding of relevant criteria and products as well being able to submit new mortgage business
  • Ensure all new broker registrations are actioned within 24 hours to enable Intermediaries to submit business and send the welcome calls to the relevant Telephone BDM's
  • Working crossfunctionally with our Mortgage processing and servicing and Underwriters to support the whole broker journey
  • Provide brokers with direction and guidance to the website and relevant pages/links where information can be found

£23k basic salary

Hours: 35 hours per week
