The Role - Energy Advisor or Trainee


Location:
Mainly outreach based across Greater Manchester with some home working.


Hours:
Full-time, 35 hours per week


Closing date: 6th January 2023


Interview date: 16th-27th January

Each year we improve the lives of tens of thousands of local people from across Stockport, Oldham, Rochdale and Trafford by sharing information and offering advice, support and guidance.


We have gained additional energy funding to take on an innovative energy project to help alleviate fuel poverty in the the Greater Manchester area and are looking for a number of Energy or Trainee Energy Advisers to join our existing teams.

The successful applicant will be an efficient and flexible team member who has:
Experience or knowledge of energy efficiency and fuel poverty programmes
Experience delivering energy advice or advice work in general
Demonstrable experience of writing and maintaining case records that confirm to a quality standard
The ability to research, analyse and interpret complex information and produce and present clear verbal and written reports
Excellent communication & teamwork skills

This role sits within the Energy team under Business Delivery, line managed by the Account Manager for Energy Services.
