Description
Edstart are looking for an enthusiastic and professional individual with a passion for sports coaching. Applicants will be required to teach PE and sport to children and young people within a primary school setting. Applicants will be required to plan and Edstart's PE curriculum and the national PE curriculum. Applicants will also be required to deliver a range of extra-curricular activities before school, at lunch times, and after-school. Applicants should be aware they may be required to work during the school holidays during holiday clubs.

The current position available will be on a part time basis, with the opportunity to progress onto a full time basis.


Responsibilities of an Edstart Sports Coach:

  • To plan and deliver a range of high quality PE and sports sessions
  • Inspire young people to lead healthy, active lifestyles
  • To teach lessons in line with Ofsted criteria and PE national curriculum
  • Work closely with schools and staff to build positive relationships

Requirements to be an Edstart Sports Coach:

  • Own transport as you will be required to travel to a number of locations
  • Self motivated and have a passion for teaching/coaching sport
  • Be able to pass an enhanced DBS check and deemed safe to work with children

Job Types:

Pay:
From £12.00 per hour

Education:


  • A-Level or equivalent (preferred)
