Description

_
Are you an experienced & energetic fundraiser? We need you to help promote and develop the county's approach to income generation so as to increase our fundraising capacity.

_

Family Counselling Trust (FCT) is a low-cost, early intervention mental health charity providing counselling to children & young people (4-18yrs) and their families from qualified psychological therapists.

We predominantly serve low-income families who otherwise cannot access NHS services (e.g. as they are under the threshold for CAMHS).

FCT is fully funded by generous funders and donors and has a wonderful team of volunteers who make it all possible.

The need for our service is continually growing so we need to raise more funds to keep up with the increase in referrals.

Please note this will be predominantly remote working from home with occasional (expenses reimbursed) travel to fundraising events.

What are we looking for?

  • Demonstrated experience in fundraising.
  • Acumen for finding funding opportunities, creating and leveraging connections with grantgiving bodies, HNW individuals, businesses and organisations in your county.
  • Good communication and cooperation to work in collaboration with the central fundraiser (CEO), county chair and county committee (with one member currently focusing on seeking small and medium grants.)
  • Great organisational skills and creativity to organise fundraising events.
  • Enthusiastic, persistent, and reliable.
  • Passionate about our mission.
  • Located in either Wiltshire, Hampshire or Somerset.

Desirable

  • Excellent people skills to recruit, direct and manage a group of volunteers willing to work in support of FCT fundraising at county level.
