Morgan McKinley is recruiting for a newly created role as Senior Management Accountant for our client, a multinational organisation in Melksham on a permanent basis.

The successful Senior Management Accountant will be supporting the Financial Controllerin the delivery of the management accounts and month end as well as Business Partnering and analysis.


The successful Senior Management Accountant will be offered up bonus, flexible working and hybrid working requiring 2 days in the office per week and an extensive benefits package.

We are looking for a strong Management Accountant, who is ideally qualified,or finalist or QBE with strong interpersonal skills and enjoys business partnering with the wider organisation.


Reporting to the FC you will be tasked with the following:

  • Preparing monthly and quarterly finance management information for multiple business division with commentary for both sales and operational expenditure
  • Financial analysis including variance analysis and giving insight into driving performance.
  • Supporting with budgeting and forecasting.
  • Business partnering with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Line management for 3 people
  • Produce and develop more insightful reporting by statutory entity
  • Review project revenue and assist with queries to their resolution
  • Help lad quarterly business patterning with the FC and FD to department heads on budget performance
  • Production of dash boards, KPIs analysis and supporting with using insight to help highlight any risks or opportunities and room for improvement and what the data means to wider organisation and nonfinancial people.

What you will need:


  • Experience in job roles such as; Management Accountant / Project Accountant/ FP&A / Financial Planning and analysis / Finance Business partner/ Senior Management Accountant / Accountant/ Assistant Accountant
  • You will need to be comfortable with working with various systems and extracting the data and really push for accuracy within the data
  • Qualified/ Finalist: ACA / ACCA / CIMA or QBE
  • Extensive relevant commercial financial experience.
  • Demonstrable experience in production of management accounts, and analysis
