    Job Title: Technical Sales Consultant

    The Technical Sales Consultant will play a crucial role in driving the growth of Finning International's Central region by identifying and selling Trimble's technology solutions to the construction infrastructure services market. This position requires direct customer-facing contact and a willingness to travel within the region as needed.

    Key Responsibilities:
    • Strategic Planning: Develop a strategic territory sales plan, schedule daily, weekly, and monthly sales activities, and report using internal CRM systems.
    • Opportunity Management: Identify, manage, and close new and existing opportunities within the region, collaborating with OEM and Strategic Sales teams to identify new business opportunities.
    • Product Demonstration: Showcase the features and benefits of Trimble's Construction Infrastructure products to existing and potential customers.
    • Consultative Sales: Foster positive relationships with leading regional customers through key account management.
    • Forecasting: Provide regular and accurate sales forecasts to the UK Regional Sales Manager.
    • Goal Achievement: Strive to achieve company objectives and goals, continually seeking ways to improve results.
    • Market Analysis: Monitor and report on market strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats, focusing on customer-specific insights.

    Requirements:
    • Bachelor's Degree in a technical-related discipline, civil engineering, surveying, or a related business field, and/or HND in a technical-related discipline.
    • Relevant experience in a construction technology-related field, with previous field sales experience preferred.
    • Strong ability to successfully sell products and services.
    • Ability to prioritize tasks effectively for short and long-term objectives.
    • Ability to make strategic decisions and take disciplined risks.
