My client are growing all the time which as a result offers plenty of progression opportunities including scope for a Director position in the future.

Your new role as Finance & Operations Manager:

Your duties will include:

Building relationships & providing high quality financial advice to the Senior Leadership team

Support the Regional Finance Director in the preparation and implementation of financial forecasts, business plans, management reports and returns.

Management of a small accounts function

Working closely with Budget holders, Principals & Governors

Looking at funding initiatives

Conduct reviews and evaluations of cost reduction opportunities

Taking ownership of all Operations including Facilities Management, Estates and Health & Safety

Financial accounting & reporting

Monitor and update fixed asset register, including additions, disposals, transfers and depreciation charges.

Treasury management

Audit & Compliance

Payroll operations

The Experience & Qualifications Required:

Qualified Accountant (CIMA/ACCA/ACA)

Several years' experience in a Senior Finance role

Previous staff management responsibility

Experience of Multi Academy Trust or Group Accounting would be highly desirable

Proven track record of building strong relationships and credibility at senior level across

all departments

Experience of Integrated Accounting software procedures including business planning & investment appraisal software

Experience & understanding of facilities management, operations & catering
