A new and unique opportunity has arisen at Eurobase People at Director level as a result of a year of growth and ambitious plans for 2023.


For a senior, results orientated, recruitment leader from a fast paced, service orientated recruitment sector, this role will provide autonomy and the chance to shape and deliver a strategic plan with full support from the business to recruit, train andincentivise a successful team.


Eurobase People is part of the Eurobase International Group, which has been established for over 25 years with offices in both London and Chelmsford.

This role will be based from our Chelmsford office and offers hybrid working.

What will the role involve?

  • Responsibility for the overall performance of the UK territory against both GP and net profit sales budgets
  • Using planning/forecasting expertise to help set and execute strategic growth plans in collaboration with the MD
  • Driving contractor growth across both the 360 contracts function and key accounts, using our network, contacts and market knowledge to maximise opportunity.
  • Continuing to drive customer satisfaction within our key accounts through exceptional service levels
  • Developing and actively promoting high level permanent solutions to our clients, including retainers and TaaS products.
  • Engaging in High level Business Development activity, including negotiations at C-Level to maximise business opportunities within each client.
  • Leading from the front to drive the performance and activity of a team of recruitment consultants, ensuring the team are fully empowered and motivated to deliver against target/budgets
  • Empowering and developing individuals within the team to help them realise their maximum potential as a recruiter and thrive.
  • Working with the SLT on a talent acquisition/retention strategy to attract and retain talent
  • Working in partnership with the Head of Talent and Development to establish and deliver a people and succession plan
  • Working with the Head of Talent and Development to continually review and evolve the EP Academy and Fast track programmes with a view to growing the team with trainee/graduate level recruiters
  • Model excellent leadership behaviours in line with our values, representing the organization internally and externally as a member of the Senior Leadership team
  • Develop a targeted marketing strategy alongside our marketing/digital content team to maximise our exposure to our key target markets
What are we looking for?

  • Minimum of 8 years working within recruitment, at least 3 years within a senior leadership role
  • Demonstrable experience of successfully leading a team to meet business objectives
  • Experience of strategic planning at a senior level with the capacity to translate into robust business plans
  • Ability to keep abreast of trends and conditions within areas of specialism and make effective business decisions based on factual knowledge
  • Experience of translating business objectives into personal objectives for the team and empowering individuals to achieve them.
  • A proven track record of developing clients and winning new business, with strong negotiation and presentation skills
  • The ability to demonstrate gravitas through effective and appropriate communication skills both in person, virtually, and written.
  • Experience of maximising tools such as LinkedIn to build and cultivate networks within our key target markets.
  • Strong business acumen; understands and demonstrates an understanding of the business, priorities, opportunities, and challenges
  • A positive outlook with the ability to take ownership of work
  • A selfstarter with the ability to work autonomously and collaboratively
