Store Operator
Devon Grain is a farmer owned co-operative grain store located at Cullompton. The store handles over 20,000 tonnes of grain and oilseeds for it members.

Following a restructuring of the team we are recruiting for an additional store operator.

Reporting to the store manager and directors of Devon Grain the office work will include


Handling grain into the store at harvest, ensuring it is recorded correctly, that when required it is dried and cleaned and then stored securely.


When in store there is a requirement to check and record the condition of the crops and ensure it is as required.


Loading lorries out of store, ensuring the correct product is loaded out according to contract requirements and is recorded as such.

There is a need to work from height at times.

Managing the operation of the public weighbridge, including ticketing and both incoming and outgoing stock control.

Full training will be provided


Salary:
£12.00-£14.00 per hour
