Job Title:
Electronics Test Engineer

Based at:
Lowton, Warrington

Hours:
Monday to Friday 8.30 am to 5.00 pm

Salary :
Around £28k - £30k per annum depending on qualifications and experience

Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:
Test and repair of electrical and electronic assemblies
Production of test rigs
Filling out test certificates, non conformance documents etc
Providing technical assistance to other departments

Personal skills and qualifications of Electronics Test Engineer:
Preferably qualified to HNC in electronic engineering ( minimum)

Experience
Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role
Able to fault find and repair to pcb component level

Experience with the following:
logic circuits, operational amplifiers, comparators, microcontrollers, thyristor and transistor circuitry (preferably including IGBT's), relay and contactor circuits
Experience with SM pcb's, including soldering of SM components
Fully conversant in the use of test equipment such as oscilloscopes, voltmeters, bench power supplies etc
Ability to use pcb CAD software

Skills:
Excellent level of computer literacy in Microsoft Word, Excel and the Internet
Able to communicate effectively with good presentation skills
Ability to plan and coordinate effectively
Collating and presenting accurate information in a timely manner
Building and maintaining effective relationships with internal/external training customers
Excellent Customer Service Skills
Excellent telephone manner
