An established Data Warehouse team who has a number of significant projects to make changes to the current data platforms.

The role of Data Warehouse Developer is really important to our client.

You will be given autonomy in your role to lead on the strategy and delivery of improvements to the current data warehouse whilst also working with a variety of stakeholders to offerdaily support to meet best practice and polices.


This role will be based in our Cardiff, Reading or Manchester offices however, you will be able to work a blend of both home and office each week.

You'll be made to feel part of your new team by your Line Manager, and colleagues through regular contact andvirtual interaction.


What would your day look like?

  • Work with the wider business to create technical requirements, design and build data warehouse ETL and reporting solutions and address complex data challenges.
  • Offer day to day support to maintain a reliable data warehouse service for business users across the group, this will include a need to provide out of hours support on a rota basis.
  • Contribute and implement to the continuous development of the data services by building strong working relationships across the IT teams and business areas to meet the groups goals.

What do we expect of you?

  • Expertise in Oracle, SQL, ELT/ETL, reporting and Visual Analytics tools including SSMS, SSRS, SSIS
  • Strong T-SQL knowledge using SQL Server 2008/2012/2014/2019 or later
  • Expertise in SQL, ELT/ETL, reporting and Visual Analytics tools including SSMS, SSRS, SSIS
  • Designing and implementing complex technical processes using Microsoft technologies SQL, SQL Server, SSIS, SSRS, SSAS
  • Designing and implementing Data Warehouse processes using Kimball methodology
