- motivated and enthusiastic? Then consider working as a Housekeeper on Coronary Care Unit at North Manchester General Hospital.


As Housekeeper you will be an integral part of the team primarily responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organisation within the unit to ensure a clean, safe and comfortable environment for patients, as well as the coordination of stock levels.

You will also be involved in the Trust's patient's experience agenda, helping our patient's complete our What Matters To Me feedback and Friends and Family feedback.


You will need excellent interpersonal and customer service skills as well as a commitment to working within a team to develop and improve our services.

In return we will provide an induction program and you will be appraised on a yearly basis with a view to developing knowledge and skills.


The post holder will work as an integral part of the team, responsible for the coordination and maintenance of the supply chain to the ward and to ensure a clean, safe and comfortable environment.

The main elements of the role include catering responsibilities, cleaning, ordering of stores, minor maintenance of equipment and re-stocking of areas together with other specified tasks as directed by the shift leader.

The post holder will be required to work closely with contractors, support services, monitor quality standards, report deficiencies and take appropriate action.

The post holder will ensure that the tidiness and appearance of the department is conducive to good patient care. Patients' privacy and dignity must be respected at all times.


You will be involved in our Meal Time Standards agenda ensuring our patient's have access to meals and have regular access to refreshments.
