Responsibilities:
To collect and deliver materials and equipment to various building projects in the area to keep tradesman fully stocked and equipped
Required to assist tradesmen in a variety of tasks.
- Safely operate a commercial vehicle (van)
- Communicate effectively with passengers and provide excellent customer service
- Follow designated routes and schedules for efficient transportation
- Load and unload passengers and their luggage or cargo
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks
- Report any vehicle malfunctions or maintenance needs promptly
Requirements:
- Ability to safely operate commercial vehicles with a driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to operate equipment such as pallet jacks
- Familiarity with local roads and routes
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to lift and move heavy items when necessary
- Flexibility in working hours, including weekends and holidays
Salary:
£12.00-£14.00 per hour
