Express Recruitment are delighted to be working alongside a leading Local Authority who are looking for an Environmental Services Assistant to join their passionate team on a Temporary basis to support with their day to day functions.

Within this position you will be required to drive the company vehicles across various sites, therefore a clean, UK Driving Licence is essential for carrying out the duties accordingly for this position.

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide assistance and advice to staff in the Animal Control Team and other relevant departments
Manage and negotiate contracts relating to the Environmental Protection Services
Prepare, organise and present findings and reports
Respond to environmental issues across the community
Drive company vehicles and carry out regular vehicle maintenance checks

Skills & Qualifications

Full, Clean and Clear UK Driving Licence essential
Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team
In depth knowledge of Health and Safety issues
Able to comply with relevant safe working practices
