ABOUT Skinners
Skinners' Academy is a school in the Woodberry Down (North Hackney) community for boys and girls aged 11-19, providing a world class education in a state-of-the-art building.
Opened in 2010, the Academy is supported by the Skinners' Company, who are looking forward, with great enthusiasm, to their Academy becoming the heart and the hub of the local community.

Here's a bit more detail on what we see you doing in this role:
- You'll have responsibility for all areas of our service and preparation, including our display areas, stations and equipment
*Creating a warm and professional welcome for our guests; running an efficient service at pace within the café whilst ensuring guests receive a personalized experience
*Engaging, motivating, and inspiring a strong and passionate team; you'll work closely with our Garden Café Manager, and Chef manager ensuring the team consistently deliver exceptional service
- Admin duties including allergy list updates, ordering, rotas, trainings
*Creating and delivering daily briefings along with weekly training sessions designed with our development partners and food & beverage management
*Confirming and presenting all allergen information correctly to our team members and guests
*You'll assist the Garden Café manager with schedules, inputting hours and revenue, helping to achieve and maintain appropriate staffing costs
*Interacting with our guests, always warm, professional, helpful and doing everything you can to exceed their expectations; playing your part in making their stay with us luxurious in every

You have outstanding experience in a similar role with an outstanding track record of success within a catering industry
*Bright and friendly, you have the ability to adapt and work in a fast paced, busy environment; you're focused and flexible, never afraid to ask for help
*Confident and self-assured, you can deal with any situation that comes your way; dealing with guest concerns calmly and professionally, ensuring every situation is resolved swiftly and to our guest's ultimate satisfaction
*A role model for your team, you consistently delivering a high energy, floor based and detail focused performance with both our guests and team members equally front of your mind, determined to exceed guest expectations.
This is full time role 32.5 hours per week, working hours are 08:
30-14:
