Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our association as a Financial Administrator.
The Financial Administrator will play a crucial role in supporting our financial operations and ensuring the smooth running of our administrative processes.
Responsibilities:
Providing financial and administrative support to the Association.
Using financial software programs (Sage and PayPal).
Carrying out bank reconciliations on all accounts.
Processing the sales of merchandise including web shop sales.
Prepare financial reports and statements for review by the Finance Committee.
Provide administrative support to the Honorary Treasurer as needed.
Maintenance of the membership CRM database.
Organising, and taking minutes, at quarterly trustees' meetings, the AGM and Out of Town meetings (these are held on Saturdays on a rotational basis).
Building and maintaining effective relationships with partners of the charity
Requirements:
- Proven experience in an administrative or clerical role
- Proficient in using office software, such as Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Suite
- Familiarity with accounting software, such as Sage, is preferred
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Professional phone etiquette and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively

From £24,375.00 per year
Expected hours: 22 per week
