Tradewind are seeking an experienced and dedicated English Teacher to join one of our secondary schools in Cheshire West and Chester.

The successful English Teacher will be responsible for planning, delivering and assessing English lessons to students ofall abilities, as well as participating in extra-curricular activities and school events.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging and effective English lessons to students of all abilities
  • Assess, track and report on student progress
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum and assessment strategies
  • Provide support and guidance to students to help them reach their full potential
  • Participate in extracurricular activities and school events

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in English or a related field
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Proven experience teaching English in a secondary school setting
  • Excellent communication, organisational and planning skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and students
