Exciting opportunity for a qualified (ACCA or ACA) accountant to join a highly profitable & growing £50 million turnover business based in Central Nottingham as Financial Controller Accountant in a newly created role due to growth.

As Financial Controller you'll will play a crucial part in helping the business achieve their goals and, as a result, we are looking for someone who enjoys working in an open-minded culture, someone with the desire to challenge the status quo and drive businessperformance through great financial management.


As Financial Controller, you'll be working closely with the FD as the go to person for all technical finance matters covering Management Accounts & Financial Accounting, Statutory Accounting, Stakeholder reporting, Coordination of the external audit, FinancialCompliance and be involved in a number of strategic elements including, upgrading their current ERP & process re-engineering.

Your Experience...

  • Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA) trained in practice they'll consider a first time mover from Audit/Practice
  • Interpersonal skills to support, advise and influence managers from different parts of the business whilst providing strong financial control where necessary
  • Practice trained with industry experience or a first time mover from Practice with Accounts preparation experience
