Fixed Term - 12 months

Full time, 37.5 hr/week

Role Overview

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Finance Support Team Member to join Bupa.

In this role you will provide operational support to all business units facilitating a prompt and robust payment of budget and providing support to users and vendor management facilities.


What you'll do:

  • You will be responsible for user reconciliation and management of systems used by IT & Change and our offshore partners;
  • Looking after timesheet processing and associated user record management for all users to track project spend. You will also set up and maintenance of all records and approvers. Covering timesheet management and reconciliation ensuring billing and budget data are accurate and complete and be responsible for ownership of Innate Support mailbox ensure query resolution and user support.

- ePurchasing
  • Raising purchase orders, management of budget and payment of all invoices within IT & Change in line with the Procurement policy and communicating with non conforming suppliers. You will also manage R500 and R600 exceptions fixing issues and liaising with various departments to see through to completion.
  • SharePoint Offshore Administration Tool
  • Manage and support the secure area for each of our preferred offshore partners and Domestic contractor providers for submission of individual contractor resource records and all associated documentation to Bupa, maintaining accurate data for the duration of their engagement, in line with the agreed statements of work.


  • Beeline

  • Ensure all Innate contractor details are accurate and up to date for accruals and project recharge purposes. Additionally you will reduce manual admin for both the Fin support, Cost management and record to report teams across all BUs.
  • Manage the of budget for Domestic, Offshore supplier and maintenance invoicing. Ensuring requisitions are raised, approved and receipted in ePurchasing accurately in line with their contractual payment terms and Bupa guidelines from reconciliation against approved hours worked and correct rates / agreed fixed price agreements through to submission to Procure to Pay Teams. Ensuring relevant documentation is acquired and held on record in line with our Bupa policy and government legislation.
  • As well as this you will report on mechanisms for Senior Managers to drive key decision making across Business Services through Adhoc headcount / costs by PM/LM/Scrum Team. Provide support and assistance to Team leader and other team members and identify and escalate where necessary to help resolve issues and communicate effectively with all stakeholders, creating a strong supporting relationship to facilitate smooth processes and issue resolution.

What you'll bring:

  • Experience working in a customer support environment.
  • Ability to organise and effectively prioritise own work load and use own initiative.
  • Proven numeracy skills and the drive to work with attention to detail.
  • A customer service ethic and professional telephone manner are essential.
  • Proficient in all MS Office products
