Join us as a Mortgage Specialist

  • We'll look to you to lead a team of mortgage specialists actively making sure mortgage cases are processed and managed against key targets
  • You'll play a key part in delivering a seamless client experience, along with maintaining an environment of continuous improvement
  • This is an opportunity to work collaboratively with team leaders and hone your customer service and relationship management skills

What you'll do:

You'll be resolving mortgage queries efficiently and on time while making sure you always consider the customer.

You'll also be referring any business opportunities to colleagues in other teams, making sure that we collaborate to find the best outcome for our customers.

This will be consistent throughout your team as you'll be mentoring less experienced colleagues through sharing your knowledge and best practice.


You'll also be:

  • Acting as a trusted adviser to clients, providing guidance about suitable regulated mortgage products
  • Resolving any advice or service complaints in line with policy and agreed timescales
  • Maintaining up to date knowledge of the financial markets and economic news

The skills you'll need:

We'll need you to hold a CeMAP qualification to be considered for this role.

You'll also make a direct impact to the mortgage team with your excellent relationship management skills, and you'll have the ability to deliver consistently high levels of customer service.


You'll also need:

  • Experience in banking and financial services with a broad understanding of financial markets, products and services
  • Strong influencing and negotiation skills
  • A track record of meeting quality assurance, service and risk targets in a regulated environment
  • An intermediate level of Microsoft Office and other technical systems skills
