JOB PURPOSE:
Complete Paving Requirements (Scotland) Ltd are looking for a new Administrator to join our team. We are a small civil engineering business based in Dumbarton, West Dunbartonshire. Working as a Plant Administration Assistant you will be responsible for organisational and administrative duties related to supporting the Transport Compliance Administrator.

Working for the Transport Compliance Administrator as part of the Plant Administration Team
Other:
Working Part-time from our Head Office at Dumbarton for a fixed period of 12 months
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Hired Plant updating the hired plant report, arranging for items to be off/on hire, keep track of where plant is located
- Company telephone calls dealing with incoming call handling or redirecting as required
- Price and order workshop parts, fuel, gas and AdBlue,
- Create weekly fuel reports
- Ensure safety inspections are carried out on plant machinery every 12 weeks by coordinating with the workshop
- Book LOLER tests for all lifting machinery
- Updating and tracking records of plant, keeping 15 months of records and regular archiving
- Other ad hoc administrative duties including assistance with transport administration when required ie filing, copying and reporting.
CONTEXT:
Ensuring adequate stock available to support workshop, recording of plant hire and booking of plant maintenance. Keeping records of plant equipment locations and inspections.
RELATIONSHIPS:
Reporting to Transport Compliance Administrator, working in a small team of Transport or Plant
Administration Assistants and liaising with an external company workshop Plant / HGV mechanics.
KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE:
You should be a confident communicator, both orally and written and meticulous in managing the detail of all administrative duties.
Training will be provided on internal systems and all CPR's systems are digital.
Desired:
Office packages including highly proficient in Excel, 2 years' administration experience
JOB CHALLENGE:
Working to meet deadlines and keeping track of plant or transport resource. Regular review and filing of job cards. Working with external contractor to co-ordinate maintenance and servicing of plant vehicles.

Part-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months
Part-time hours: 25.00 per week
Salary:
£7.49-£10.42 per hour
