We have an exciting opportunity for a well organised and self-motivated Lecturer in Health and Childcare to join the East Durham College Team on an Hourly Paid/ basis.

Main Duties of the Role:

The purpose of the post is to work flexibly and efficiently to maintain the highest professional standards in the delivery of allocated teaching programmes, including the associated organisational, coordination and administrative responsibility.

Essential Requirement:

A level 4 or above teaching qualification (Cert Ed/PGCE) or willing to work towards
Minimum of Level 4 qualification ind Health, Care or a Childcare related discipline
Experience of delivery to a wide range of learners
Experience of successfully teaching on Health and Social Care and/or Childcare related courses
Proven track record of delivering good and better teaching
Ability to manage own workload and meet deadlines
Suitability to work with children and/or vulnerable adults
