Your responsibilities

RWEST's asset-backed gas and LNG business is steered in one strategic organisational unit, "Gas & LNG Supply", and has established as a major LNG player.

We manage and optimise the global LNG portfolio with a strong customer base in Europe, Asia, and the Middle East.

Our LNG desk covers the full spectrum of trading activities.

Sitting within the Global LNG trading team based in London, the Commercial Operations and Shipping Team are responsible for the successful management of cargo operations, as well as freight operations for a number of LNG vessels on charter.

The team are in charge of chartering in and out for the desk and responsible for the wider shipping strategy.

Our fast growing and diverse team is now looking for an experienced and highly motivated LNG Commercial Operator, so if this sounds like you don't hesitate and hit apply

Manage the successful delivery of cargoes for the LNG trading desk in the safest, most efficient and profitable way
Ensuring that all obligations arising from cargo/charterparty contracts are carried out, and that all necessary requirements are complied with
Dealing with complications as they arise ensuring that they are managed professionally and optimally for the trading desk
Working closely with the physical trading team to review deal proposals and help assess possible optimisations
Manage relationships with external stakeholders, counterparties and service providers e.g. suppliers and customers, ship owners and agents, inspectors and survey companies
Negotiate annual delivery programs, ideally face to face which may include some travel

Your profile

Experience within the LNG industry
Problem solver with excellent attention to detail and a commercial mindset
Entrepreneurial attitude with high level of self motivation and self organisation
Fluent in English (written & spoken)
Degree educated in shipping/trading or finance/science

Advantageous, but not a must

Background in LNG Shipping
Knowledge of LNG freight trading
Endur system user experience
Fluency in other languages in addition would be advantageous
