Sponsorship Sales Manager - European Tech Events
Join a media & B2B events company
Central London office + Travel (Hybrid working 3/2)
Base salary £40K + Year 1 OTE £70K+, Uncapped Commission
- Sell Sponsorship for 2 established European events
- Both events have outstanding agendas & speakers
- Lots of potential to increase revenues for both events and exceed the OTE of £70K
- Generous lead times
What will you be doing as a Sponsorship Sales Manager?
- Working within digital publishing and b2b events team
- Selling high value sponsorship and marketing solutions for 2 established and expanding European Tech Conferences (with sizeable exhibition space) to new and existing clients.
- Able to articulate and promote value propositions to relevant potential sponsors
- Conversing and negotiating confidently and successfully with senior decision makers over the phone and inperson
- Working with the wider events team to launch exciting new projects and formats
- Research new prospects, followup on leads and data shared by the marketing and content team and utilise the database (Salesforce) to identify lapsed clients.
- Manage your sales pipeline and keep the database updated
- Attending events, overseas travel will be required
Who are you?
- Successful background in b2b sponsorship sales within events / conferences / exhibitions
- Able to plan and deliver the sales strategy for your events
- Excellent communication skills
- Confident leading meetings and pitches
- Ability to persuade and influence decision makers
- Excellent research and writing skills
- Positive approach toward meeting targets, KPI's and deadlines
- Attention to detail and organised
- Positive, enthusiastic and ambitious sales professional
- Confident using IT including such as Teams, Microsoft, CRM's
