Description

Responsibilities:

  • Answer calls and transfer to appropriate staff member
  • Take and distribute accurate messages
  • Greet clients and direct them to correct staff member
  • Coordinate messanger and courier service
  • Recieve, sort and distribute incoming mail and parcels
  • Prepare outgoing mail for distribution
  • Perform general clerical duties including photocopying, scanning, faxing
  • Maintain electronic and hard copy filing and storage systems
  • Retrieve information when requested
  • Type doucments, reports and correspondance
  • Coordinate and organize appointments and meetings
  • Assist with event planning and implementation
  • Monitor and maintain office supplies including stationery and sundries
  • Perform errands as requested such as going to the post office and bank
  • Keep office area clean, tidy and well presented
  • Monitor and arrange monthyl water ordering
  • Arrange fortnightly laundrette service
  • Assist any staff member with adhoc tasks
  • Assist in resolving any adminitrative problems
  • Liaise with IT company for any office issues
  • Liaise with cleaning company to arrange weekly cleaning
  • Assist each department with filing
  • To make Teas & Coffee for visitors, clients and staff when appropriate

Qualifications:

  • Experience as an office assistant or in a related field
  • Proficient in computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask
  • Attention to detail and problemsolving skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information

Salary:
From £24,000.00 per year

  • GCSE or equivalent (preferred)
