Midday Supervisor

Salary:
HCC HA Scale Point 2 actual salary £2,617 per annum including outer fringe allowance, based on 5 hours per week, term time only

Hourly rate:
£11.95 including outer fringe allowance

Hours: 5 hours per week, Monday to Friday 1.30pm - 2.30pm, term time only

Start date:
As soon as possible

We wish to appoint a person with energy, commitment, a high level of interpersonal skills and the ability to work well with students.

Midday Supervisors are valued members of the school community and play an important role in ensuring students feel safe, secure and happy during their lunch break.

There could also be the opportunity to extend working hours, which can be discussed at interview.

Lunchtime duties include:

Responsibility for the supervision of students aged 1118 throughout our lunch break
Supervision of lunch queues
Supervision of students in the dining hall and reporting any inappropriate behaviour
Supervision of all areas both inside and outside where students are during lunchtime
Cleaning up spillages and requesting students to pick up their litter
Ensuring that students are kept safe at all times in accordance with child protection guidelines
Adhering to the school's policies
Carrying out reasonable instructions by duty staff and the Headteacher
Assist with cleaning the dining area after lunchtime finishes
