Product Governance Manager
Hybrid working - Bristol

Salary - £30,000

Monday to Friday - 9 am to 5 pm


We are looking for motivated and energetic product analysts to play an integral part of our product governance strategy ensuring the regulatory adherence of all products throughout their life cycle across Markerstudy Broking.


Markerstudy Broking distributes and co-manufactures a variety of personal and commercial insurance products that are the backbone for household names and respected brands.

As part of our evolution, we are looking for logical, excel savvy, individuals thatwill complement our existing expertise and ambition for growth while setting standards for customer excellence and compliance with new regulatory requirements.


This is a non customer facing role and ideally suited to someone who wants to progress from a previous service, support or compliance role and work behind the scenes ensuring that our customers get the best possible outcomes from our products.


What the job involves:


Key to success in this role will be an understanding of the responsibilities to our customers, the performance measures used to define customer value in an insurance product and compilation and analysis of the annual product reviews to evidence our valueassessments.

You will be comfortable working across business areas and working with insurers to meet our conduct, distribution and co manufacturing responsibilities.

Being highly organised, you will grow the product repository to evidence our assessment anduse it to provide MI that supports business decisions.


Responsibilities:


  • Evaluate each scheme & product and assess for fair value.
  • Conduct annual product reviews in accordance with the group schedule.
  • Develop and oversee small projects.
  • Analyse metrics used to continually improve customer outcomes.
  • Develop a deep understanding of company products and support the company's current and future needs.
  • Assist the company in achieving short and longterm goals relating to product growth.
  • Work with other company departments to improve the understanding, analysis, and presentation of products.
  • Work with our insurer partners to meet distribution and co manufacturing responsibilities as set out in PROD 4 of the FCA Handbook.
