I am currently working with an award-winning Architectural Practice based in Edinburgh.

This multi-disciplinary practice is looking for an experienced Architectural Technician to join their growing team in a dynamic studio environment, delivering a varietyof exciting projects across the UK.

They work on projects across a range of sectors including Education, Residential, Master planning, student accommodation, Hotels and Leisure.

Skills and Responsibilities for this Architectural Technician/Technologist role:

  • Ability to integrate technical design and compliance information whilst respecting the integrity of the concept designs
  • Assist in the design and drawings for building regulations
  • Able to produce high quality technical drawings
  • Adopt a proactive approach to problem solving
  • Interest in emerging sustainable and netzero frameworks would be beneficial
  • Experience of design team working through the detailed design and construction phases of a project

Essentials needed for this Architectural Technician/Technologist role:

  • Strong design skills and technical expertise from RIBA Stages 3-
  • Experience in Revit, AutoCAD, Adobe and Microsoft Office
  • In depth knowledge of building regulations and planning rules
  • Good organisational and presentational skills
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
