If so we have a great opportunity to join our fantastic team across East and West Mendip as a Team Leader This role would be suitable for someone working at this level looking for a new opportunity, or a strong, driven support worker ready for that step up.
Your role will involve:
Work alongside the Support Manager to ensure that our staff are providing excellent support to the people that we work with
Play a key role in day to day management of the location
Provide support and supervision to the support staff
Manage the rota and ensure that staff are fully trained
Provide on the job coaching, feedback, and act as a role model
Take part in an on-call rota to ensure that staff have access to support when it is needed
You will need to be a driver with access to a car and be prepared to work flexibly from our local office in Wells and our surrounding locations across the Mendips area.
The role is a combination of admin and on rota support, so you will need to be prepared to work flexible shifts as required, which will include occasional weekends.
