Netwirking Recruitment are pleased to be working with a business in Seaham who are looking for an IT Technician Engineer to join their team.


The company has been established in the North East for over 30 years and are a leading name in their industry.

Due to expansion they are looking for someone with good technical experience who also wants to learn and develop with the company moving forward.


As an IT Technician your key responsibilities will be;

  • Provisioning of new devices and users (moves, adds, changes)
  • Monitoring of IT estate to identify issues and ensure problem resolution
  • Patch deployment and management across desktops, servers and hardware devices
  • Advising and supporting both internal and external customers on their IT queries and requirements
  • Escalation of issues internally and to vendors/suppliers as required
  • Identifying requirements and purchasing hardware and software
  • Project work working both independently and alongside others to deliver business objectives

About you;

  • Excellent knowledge of current Windows desktop and server operating systems
  • Administration experience with Microsoft 365 and Azure platforms
  • Solid understanding of IP networking
  • Experience managing virtualised environments (Hyper-V, VMware)
  • Able to troubleshoot and diagnose issues across the entire technology stack
  • A strong awareness and focus on security
  • Be selfmotivated and keen to learn (with a genuine interest in technology)
  • Have experience of supporting users (eg working in a helpdesk/support role)
